August 20, 1939 — November 16, 2006

Charles Ray Gillum, 67, of Weatherford went to be with his Lord on Thursday evening, November 16, 2006 after battling cancer. Born August 20, 1939 in Wing, Arkansas to Orville and Hazel Watson Gillum, Charles was a Baptist minister, a small business owner and a homebuilding contractor for 35 years. He loved God, his wife and children, building and most of all being “Grandpa”. He lived a wonderful and fulfilling life leaving behind precious memories. Survivors: Wife of 42 years, Paulette Gillum of Weatherford   Son – Clinton R. Gillum and wife Jodi of Weatherford and grandson Quinton R. Gillum Daughter – Stacey M. Gillum of Azle   Brothers – Wayne Gillum, Lewis Gillum both of Arkansas. Bill Gillum, Tom Gillum, Gary Gillum all of Kansas. Sisters – Larewn Dubberstein                Marilyn Keil both of Kansas, Robin Gillum of Granbury. Several nieces, nephews and many friends. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 20, 2006 in the First Baptist Church of Weatherford. Interment in East Greenwood Cemetery.
