Darrell Lee Childers

Darrell Lee Childers of Keene, Texas passed away on Saturday, June 17th, 2023. Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and LaVerne Horton and Carl Childers.

Darrell is survived by his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Tyler Childers Bauer and husband, Paul of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Dustin Childers of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Sarah Scott; son, Zackary Scott; grandson, Brighton Scott; parents: mother, Joanne Horton Richardson and husband, Derek of Cedarville, Arkansas, and father, Brent Childers and wife, Becky of Weatherford, Texas; one brother, Russell Childers and wife, Crystal of Springtown, Texas; two sisters, Emily Johnson and husband, Brad of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, and Leanne Harris and husband, Adam of Cedarville, Arkansas; several aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews; cousins; one great niece; and many friends.

Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

A funeral service will begin at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2023, at Spring Creek Baptist Church, 100 Spring Creek Road, Weatherford, Texas 76087, with a private burial following at Spring Creek Cemetery.
