James Walter Brock

James W. Brock, 88, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2009.  He was born September 4, 1921 in Stephenville, Texas.  He was raised in Fort Worth and served honorably for 6½ years during and after WW II, as a Navy Medical Corpsman. He retired from General Dynamics after 35 years of service. In 1977, he and his wife moved to Parker County where he ran a small business from their home. Mr. Brock was a 50 year Master Mason and 50 year Scottish Rite Mason. He is preceded in death by his sisters Ruby Turner and Rosalie Rosacker and a daughter, Peggy Monk. Jim is survived by his wife, Dorothy Brock of Weatherford; daughters, Karyn Bagley and husband Larry; Sharon Bushek and Deborah Howell; son, James R. Brock all of Houston; daughter, Patricia Bingaman; son, Paul Monk; brother, Hubert Brock all of Fort Worth; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 


Funeral service: 2:00 PM, Saturday October 17, 2009 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Rev. Michael Edwards officiating. Interment: Spring Creek Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday at the funeral home
