Jerry Louis Pyron

Jerry Louis Pyron, 72, of Weatherford, Texas, died November 11, 2023. Mr. Pyron was born May 07, 1951, in Poteau, Oklahoma, the son of Jewell and James Pyron. He resided in Edmond, Oklahoma, before moving to Weatherford, Texas.

Jerry graduated from Oklahoma Christian University and the University of Central Oklahoma with two college degrees and a CPA. He was loyal to his favorite teams: the Poteau Pirates, Oklahoma State football and baseball, and the Arizona Cardinals and St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to read, rock and roll music, and vintage cars – hot rods. Most of all Jerry loved his family and friends. He had the gift of talking to and connecting with everyone he met.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Rita Pyron of Weatherford, Texas; son, Jerod Pyron of Keller, Texas; daughter, Megan Pyron of Los Angeles; one brother, Jim Pyron, and two sisters, Jan Gamble and Jeanne Bachlor, all of Neosho, Missouri.

The body has been taken for cremation and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of Bill Merritt Funeral Service, in Bethany, Oklahoma.
