A J Barry

December 5, 1946 — April 13, 2016

On April 13, 2016 A.J. Barry, Jr. was greeted at the Heavenly gates by his bride JoNell, his son Aaron, and his beloved parents, A.J. Sr and Hattie Barry. He left behind his daughter, Amy J Barry and his granddaughter Ashlynne JoLeigh Barry also known as his beloved butterfly. He also leaves behind his sisters Joy Lynn and husband Bob and Sherry Brown and husband Donald, his god-grandsons Logan and Colton Mooney, many nieces and nephews, cousins, adopted children and grandchildren and more friends than can be counted. Bud as he was commonly known, was a very active Master Mason, Eastern Star, Scottish Rite and Shriner. He also worked as an adult advisor for Rainbow Girls and Demolay Boys across the state.


He will be honored with a memorial service and Masonic Service on May 14, 2016 at 5 p.m, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. His and his bride’s ashes will be placed next to their son at Caddo Cemetery in Stephens County, Texas at a later date by his daughter.
