Alfred Franklin

Alfred Franklin, age 84, passed from this life Thursday, March 10, 2016 at  his residence. Alfred was born May 31, 1931 in Fort Worth, TX to Clifford and Annie Raifsnider Franklin. He was a retired Plant Maintenance Supervisor with Bell/Textron Corporation, and was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church.  Alfred is survived by his wife, Peggy of Weatherford, son, Cliff Franklin  and wife Edith of Lubbock, TX. Step-sons Eddie Allen and wife Janice, Joel Allen and Steve Allen.   Grandchildren Amy Welch, Michael Stevenson,  Daniel Franklin, Beth Ledbetter, Tim Arocha, Mark Franklin;  16 great grandchildren and 1 great great, grandchild, numerous other relatives and friends. Predeceased by wife Pencie Franklin, married 54 years, daughter Cynthia Stevenson, and sister Margaret Nell Ames.
 
 


Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday March 13, 2016 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with the Funeral Ceremony 2:00 pm, Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
