Alfred Lee Woodle

Alfred Lee Woodle, 74, of Port O’Connor, Texas died Monday morning April 27, 2009 in the Weatherford hospital. Born March 19, 1935 in Weatherford, he was a resident of Calhoun County for many years. Al graduated from Weatherford High School in 1953, attended Weatherford Junior College and was a veteran of the Marine Corp. He was a construction worker employed with Tribble and Stephens for the last five years. Al enjoyed fishing, golfing and working in his garden. He is preceded in death by his parents Bill and Roxie Woodle and a son Scott Woodle. Al is survived by his wife of 35 years, Margaret Woodle of Port O’Connor; daughter, Amy Lea Woodle of Weatherford; sons, Hud Lee Woodle of Los Angeles, CA and Todd Shane Woodle of Port O’Connor, TX; sister, Nell Thompson and husband Wayne of Weatherford; grandson, Tye Shane Woodle and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM Thursday, April 30, 2009 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
