Alice Evelyn Grimes passed away Friday, August 1, 2014. Alice was born in Caddo, Texas, to Frank and Euna Mosley.
Alice was a long time resident of Parker County, a homemaker, and member of Couts United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her husband, B. M. “Bud” Grimes; her parents; and sisters, Elizabeth Pankey, Mae Moore and Katrine Cockrell; and a brother, Frank Mosley, Jr.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Peck and husband, Larry; son, Ronald Zinn and wife, Phyllis; two grandchildren, Chrystal Peck and Randal Peck; and four great grandchildren, Cody Baker, Cory Baker, Gracie Peck, and Zane Peck.
At the request of Mrs. Grimes, no memorial service will take place. Instead, Alice encouraged “no tears, remember the laughter and good times.”
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels - a group Alice looked forward to seeing in years past.
