Alice Orilia May, age 87, of Willow Park went to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Alice was born June 16, 1930 in Hamlin, TX to Hezzy Huddleston and Kate Greenway Huddleston. She worked several years as a hairdresser however most of her time was spent as a homemaker. Alice was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was known to be an amazing cook and gardener. Alice took great pride in using vegetables from her garden for the evening table.
Alice is survived by her sons, Richard May, Wesley May and wife Joni; grandchildren, Brittany May, Brooke May, Robert Jacobs and wife Tiffany; several great-grandchildren; nieces, Vickie Beene, Veta Ruth Carey and husband Doug; and nephew, Tommy Woods and wife Adelle.
Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert “Lonnie” May; father, Hezzy Huddleston; mother, Kate Greenway Huddleston; and sister, Loveta Woods and husband David Mack “Woody” Woods.
Graveside service 10:00am Monday, December 11, 2017 at Greenwood Community Cemetery. Pastor Danny Grisso will officiate, vocalist Brother Kerry Patton. Visitation 4-6pm Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
