Allan Denise Leenhouts

Allan Denise Leenhouts, age 60, passed away on Friday, June 16th, 2023. Her husband, Ron Schappaugh, and daughter, Savannah Schappaugh were with her til the end as she passed peacefully from this world.

Denise (Neecie) was born on July 6th, 1962, in Clinton, North Carolina to Allen and Anna Faircloth.

During her life she was a NeoNatal ICU nurse, spending most her career at JPS Hospital and Baylor All Saints, both in Fort Worth. After retiring from nursing, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and was a devoted animal rescuer. She loved going to the beach with her family whenever possible, and going to Las Vegas with her friends in her younger years.

Neecie is survived by her husband, Ron Schappaugh; daughter, Savannah Schappaugh; and son, Steven Schappaugh.

She is also survived by siblings, Carolyn Leenhouts, Ron Davis, Les Griffin, Larry Davis, Pam McClure, and Cindy Kuhns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna Davis, Allen Faircloth, and stepfather, Robert Davis, as well as siblings, Brenda Griffin, and Robert Davis, Jr.

There will be a private visitation held Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.

A graveside service will be held the following day, Friday, June 23, 2023, at Long Creek Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m.

Neecie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and cousin, and will be greatly missed. She is to be laid to rest next to her mother.
