Alma Loraine Wallace

Alma Loraine Cox Wallace, 92, of Poolville, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011.  Alma was born October 24, 1918 in Hereford, Texas to Rosa Alice Biggs and Edgar Mortimer Cox.
 
Mrs. Wallace was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell where she worked
thirty-six years before retiring in 1983.  She was a resident of Hereford until she moved to Millbrae California to be nearer family and to enjoy the good weather there. Three years ago she joined her son and his family in Poolville. They shared many memories sitting on the deck watching the sunset and wild animals and playing with the dogs, cats and puppies.
 
Survivors include her son, Jan Wallace, of Poolville and a sister, Lavada Barnett, of
Wichita Falls, Texas, grandsons Drew and Eric and three great grandsons in California and Arizona.
