Althea Faye Burkhalter

Althea Faye Burkhalter, 94, of Fort Worth, died Monday evening, September 8, 2008 in a Fort Worth nursing facility. She was born February 20, 1914 to Melvin and Cornelia Pritchard in Whitt, Texas, a resident of Parker County for many years. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Peaster High School. Althea was preceded in death by her parents, husbands T. J. Echols, Paul Echols, Wiley Burkhalter, daughters Joyestell Echols, Avonell Marvin, son, Paul Donald Echols. six brothers and three sisters. Survivors:   Daughter – Judy Ann Henderson of Watauga, 6 Grandchildren – Steve Hill, Stan Hill, Dean Hill, Tim Henderson, Tonya McEndree, Tiffany Comstock, 18 Great Grandchildren, Sisters – Edna Pearl Williams of Weatherford, Evelyn Hobbs of Weatherford.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment in Dilbeck Cemetery.
