Angela Marie Ward

Angela “Angie” Marie Ward, 43 passed away Monday, October 5th after a brief illness. 
Angie was born January 20, 1966 in Ft Worth, Texas to Jackie and Geraldine “Jerri”Tidwell of Burleson, Tx. She was raised in Burleson where she met and married the love of her life, Robert Ward.  They have three beautiful children.  Angie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She will be dearly missed by those who love her.  Angie was a very caring person and enjoyed taking care of a menagerie of pets and animals that found there way to the family.  She was employed by Weatherford ISD working with special needs students at Mary Martin Elementary.
Angie is preceded in death by her father Jackie Tidwell and a nephew Gregory Tidwell.
Survivors include her loving husband of 23 years, Robert Ward, sons Preston and Coleton, daughter Madison, mother Jerri Tidwell, sister Tina Oakley and husband Steve, brother Phil Tidwell and wife Jennifer, wonderful in-laws including father-in-law R. D. Ward and wife Connie, sisters-in-laws Kathy Manning and husband Mike, Shirley Stone and husband Paul, brothers-in-law Richard Ward and wife Donna, Roy Ward and wife Angela, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at First Baptist Willow Park, 601 Ranch House Road in Weatherford, Tx.  Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm, Weatherford, Tx.  Pall Bearers will be Richard Ward, Roy Ward, Paul Stone, Mike Manning, Kevin Manning, Steve Oakley, Matt Oakley, and Phillip Dean. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Ward Memorial Fund at Compass Bank in Weatherford, Texas.
