Anna Lee Morton Taylor, a Godly wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed into eternity on January 15, 2015. She was born September 27, 1941, in Brownfield, Texas, to RC and Lee Morton. She graduated from Wellman High School in 1960, and was a proud graduate of Texas Tech University in 1963. She married Clinton Taylor in 1971. Anna was a retired school teacher and hospital dietitian
Anna is survived by husband, Clinton Taylor of Weatherford, Texas; son, Devin Duncan and wife, Christy of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; son, Matthew Taylor and wife, Susannah of Weatherford, Texas; step son, John Taylor and wife, Jeanie of Ft Mead, Florida; and step daughter, Pam Branum and husband, Greg of Houston, Texas. She also had ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Anna is also survived by her father, RC Morton of San Angelo, Texas; mother, Lee Durant of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Duane Morton of Grand Junction, Colorado; sister, Vicki Ward and husband, Tim of Cool, California; sister in law, Nancy Morton of Huntsville, Alabama; step brother, Ed Morton and wife, Shawn of Big Lake, Texas; step sister, Marceene Morton of Big Lake, Texas; step brother, Robert Durant and wife, Donna of Mesa, Arizona. She had several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her first husband, Duane Duncan; brother, Col. Curtis Morton; parents in law, LC and Ida Belle Duncan; and step father, Ross Durant.
Anna loved God, her family and her church, and was loved in return. She believed in the power of prayer and was a great prayer warrior.
Memorial Service: 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church Academy.
