Anna Vaudine Cooper went to meet her Lord on November 8, 2014. Vaudine was born February 19, 1925, the sixth child of Buford and Munsie Williams Gill, pioneer family of Parker County. She was born and raised in Dennis Community, where she went to school, met and married her husband of 61 years, Hugh Cooper. They were both members of the First Baptist Church of Brock. Together they owned and operated the Silver Shadow Charolais Ranch for over 40 years. They shared a lifelong commitment to their church, family and community. Vaudine was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh, son Max, two great grandchildren Chaynee and Gage. She was also preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, Marie Phillips, Ella Mae Murphy, Blake Gill, Sherrod Gill and Faye Malone. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Gary Cooper and wife Glenda of Granbury, Charles Cooper of Weatherford; two daughters, Anna Gibson and husband David of Mission Viejo, CA, Kittie Storm of Brock; daughter in law, Mary Bradford and husband Phil of Weatherford. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and siblings, Don Gill and Patsy Beaty.
Funeral: 2 PM, Saturday, November 15, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Brock with interment to follow in Johnson Cemetery.
Visitation: 6-8 PM, Friday, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
