Apolinaria “Thelma” Lopez, 58, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, October 20, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, October, 30, 2015, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, in Weatherford, TX. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to St. Stephen’s Catholic Church.
Apolinaria was born on July 23, 1957 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Mercedes and Candida Salazar. She had four children and was a member of St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Weatherford. Apolinaria cherished time spent with her family and friends. “Thelma” was a hard-working woman, who enjoyed spending time in her garden.
Apolinaria is survived by her husband, Juan Alvarez; children, Elvis, Jacquelina, Irene and Vernon Lopez and their spouses, all of Weatherford; grandchildren, Aaralyn, and Adaleigh Padilla, Kasiane, Jennifer, and Cristian Lopez, and Madilynn and Ryleigh Lopez; by her brothers, Venancio (Elsa) and Jose Louis Salazar; and by other numerous brothers and sisters.
Apolinaria was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, October, 30, 2015, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 1802 Bethel Road, in Weatherford, TX.
Burial will be private.
