Arlin Albert Ard Sr.

Arlin Albert Ard, Sr., age 66, of Weatherford, died Wednesday evening, January 9, 2008 in a Fort Worth Hospital. Born February 10, 1941 in Poolville, a resident of Weatherford and Parker County all his life. He retired from Bell Helicipter after 35 years, member of the Baptist Church and he loved fishing, hunting, his family and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Lector Ard. Survivors: Wife of 47 years – Judy Ard of Weatherford, Daughter – Kathie Cornett of Weatherford, Sons – Arlin Albert Ard, Jr.and partner Peter Newkirk, of Port Orchard, WA, Terry Lee Ard and wife, Nancy of San Antonio, Mickey Lynn Ard and wife, Melissa of Weatherford, Sister – Virgie Deckard of Ketchum, Idaho, Brother – Herman Paul Ard, Jr. and wife, Billie Jean of Weatherford, 6 Grandchildren – Courtney, Ashleigh, Chelsea, Tyler, Marcus and Tanner, and 1 Great Grandchild – Mackenzie.Memorial service was held at 10 AM, Friday, January 11, 2008 in the   Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.  Memorials may be sent to the   Alzheimers Association or Alcoholism
