Arvel "Doyle" Lindley

  Arvel Doyle Lindley, 83, passed from this life on Sunday, January 28, 2024. Doyle was born March 24, 1940, in Colorado City, Texas, to the late Edwin Lindley and Onie "Bobbie" (Wood) Lindley. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Clara Wolfe and Yvonne Wolfe; and brothers, Gary Lindley and Doc Lindley.

  Prior to his retirement, Doyle worked as a pipeline inspector. He enjoyed being outside with the cows and loved spending time with his family. Doyle will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

  Doyle is survived by his lifelong friend and mother of his children, Terecia Lindley-King; daughter, Lynn Mills and Terry Culver of Weatherford, Texas; son, Ed Lindley of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Donna Power of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Theresa Dawn Patterson, David Dennett and wife, LeeAnn Malone, Ronnie and wife, Tonie Fuller, Mark Power, Jayme Geeo, Shea Lindley, Michael and wife, Amanda Fleming, and Alexander Mills; great grandchildren, Bailey, Noah, Egan, Mark, Bryson, Lauren, and Emily; and brother, Jerry Lindley.

  A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2024, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, in Weatherford, Texas, with visitation beginning prior to the service, at 3:00 p.m.
