Austin Matthew Peyton, 31, died suddenly on December 26, 2014. Austin was born the “runt” of his triplet litter on January 9, 1983. Though the smallest of the three babies he was the strongest, and was able to come home at the age of 13 months from Cooks Children’s hospital. Austin grew up in Bridgeport and moved to Weatherford in 1993 with mom and brother Boomer to live on the family farm. He graduated from both Weatherford High School and Texas State School for the Blind and Visually Impaired in 2004. He attended Weatherford College for awhile, studying computers, then moved to Amarillo, TX where he met and married the love of his life, Windy Dawn. They were married on January 4, 2008. Austin loved writing/composing music, playing piano and singing. He loved horses, his beloved service dogs and fiddling with computers. He took great joy in loving Jesus, his wife, family and travelling as much as possible. Austin is survived by his wife Windy Dawn; his mother Debra Peyton; grandmother Mary ‘Nana’ Clark and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his infant brother Johnathan Stephan, his favorite partner in crime brother William Brandon “Boomer” in November of 2013, and his beloved grandfather William Lon ‘Paco’ Clark in September of 2013.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the temporary location of Emmanuel Baptist Church, 201 Kathey Street, Weatherford, TX.
