Barbara Ann Bruno

Barbara Ann Bruno, 74, of Weatherford, returned home to our Heavenly Father for eternal peace on Monday, May 2, 2016, at her home.

Barbara was born June 19, 1941, in Jersey City, NJ to Robert and Caroline Mc Caffrey. She was active in the Citizens Police Academy Program in Weatherford for many years.  Barbara retired from the Post Office after 26 years of service – and was the first female postal carrier in Weatherford!  Most of all, Barbara cherished time spent with her family – particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
 
Barbara is survived by her children, Robert (Kim) Bruno of Weatherford, Linda (Kenny) Stanley of Reno, Texas, Ron (Felicia) Bruno of Austin, and Richard (Carolyn) Bruno of Weatherford; and by 13 grandchildren and l3 great-grandchildren.
 
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents.      

 

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 7 P.M., on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel.
Visitation with the family will be held from 6 until the time of the service, Tuesday evening, at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.
