Barbara Charline O'Kelley

Barbara Charline Sitton O’Kelley, 80, of Santo passed away Friday, January 22, 2010.  Charline was born April 1, 1929 in Sweetwater, Texas to Thomas Owen and Iva Mae Sitton.
 
Mrs. O’Kelley was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a former Sojourner with the church.  She exemplified the Christian life.
 
Charline enjoyed travel and was an accomplished artist.  A combination that rendered many beautiful pictures which she shared with family and friends.
 
As a volunteer, Charline looked forward each year to the Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society.  Her compassion also led her to volunteer with Hospice groups.
 
A devoted Mother and travel companion too, Charline will be dearly missed.
 
Her husband of 54 years, Otis O’Kelley preceded her in death.
 
Survivors include her children, Tom O’Kelley and wife Linda, Sherry Edge and husband Michael, Linda Kildow and husband Randy and Darrell O’Kelley; ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, a dear sister, Sylva Jo Glenn and cherished friend, Arthur Edwards.
 
A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at South Main Church of Christ in Weatherford.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Monday, January 25, 2010 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Flower Mound Cemetery at 3 PM Tuesday January 26, 2010.
