Barbrosa De'Vale Welch

Barbrosa De'Vale Welch, 68, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 at his residence. Barbrosa was born September 19, 1953 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Charles and Dorothy Robinson Welch. He was a jack of all trades, holding many different jobs throughout his lifetime. Barbrosa was a postal worker, paralegal, chauffeur and an employee at Bell South. Most of all, he was a devoted family man that loved and treasured every moment he was able to spend with them. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Eric. Barbrosa is survived by his children, Nikki Manning (Donnell), Tonya Welch, Barbrosa De'Vale Welch-Gooden (Rasheeda), and Barbrosa De'Vale Welch, Jr.; siblings, Emily White (Rev. John T. White), Norman Bartholomew, and Ivanhoe Welch (Terry); grandchildren, Jada, Tiana, Isaiah, Jacob, Drayden, Kaydence and Jordyn; great grandchildren, Tyler and Kaeden; along with a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

A wake will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, April, 8, 2022 at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. A funeral ceremony will take place at 11 am on Saturday, April 9, 2022 also at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel. A committal service will be held at 11am, Monday April 25, 2022 at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
