Bart Jones

Bart Jones, 73 of Weatherford, died Sunday, December 17, 2006.Memorial service         11:00 a.m. Friday, December 22, 2006 in the First Baptist Church of Dennis with Pastor Danny Shearman officiatingBart was born July 19, 1933. He was an auto parts salesman for Woodruff Auto Parts and a member of the Dennis First Baptist Church. He loved hunting, horseback riding, traveling in his motorhome with his dog Chica and he loved to fix things. Most of all he loved people, that was his motivating factor for working “so he could help and socialize with people of the community” - “he never met a stranger”. Mr. Jones is survived by her sons, Rodney Jones and wife Shelly of Millsap and Lowell Jones of Hobbs, New Mexico; daughter, Marilyn Smith and husband Curtis of Fort Worth; special friend, Barbara Welborne of Weatherford; sister, Elizabeth Petree of Alamogordo, New Mexico; brother, Howard Jones of Oregon and three grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Dennis.
