Bernita Singleton

Bernita Singleton, age 83, of Weatherford passed away Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 3, in Fort Worth. She was born on January 21, 1932, in Ovilla, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Hugh Edward Singleton. They are survived by their sons, Mike Singleton and his wife Lymeda of Rockwall; Randy Singleton and his wife Sherry of Weatherford; and Jay Singleton of Ft. Worth; and her brother, Don Brown and his wife Earline. She had seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Bernita was a faithful servant of God and was a member of the church of Christ that meets on South Main in Weatherford. She was a loving care provider as well as a consummate hostess whether in her home or at special events. For over 15 years she worked with the state of Texas Department of Human Resources office in Weatherford.

Visitation: Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 6:00-8:00pm at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, Weatherford, TX.

Service: Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00am at South Main Church of Christ, Weatherford, TX.
Interment: Monday, February 9, 2015 at 1:30pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Weatherford, TX.
