Bertha Jean Harris

Bertha Jean Harris, 75, of Weatherford died Thursday, July 12, 2007 in a Fort Worth hospital. Born May 14, 1932 in Weatherford, she was a life long resident of Parker County. Bertha was a retired US Government employee and a member of Hillcrest Church of Christ. She was a homemaker that focused on her family and was a loving Mother and Grandmother. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alton Harris in 1991 and a son, Roy Harris in 2004. She is survived by her sons, Michael L. Harris of Weatherford, Karl Douglas Harris and wife Sherri of Weatherford and Rodney Allen Harris of Colorado; sisters, Dorothy and MaryAnn; brothers, Theodore and Herbert Mund; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday at Hillcrest Church of Christ with Minister Ray White officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM, Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Memorials may be made to Happy Hills Farm 3846 N. Highway 144 Granbury, Texas 76048.
