Betty Jo Robertson

Betty Robertson passed away peacefully on June 3, 2022. Betty was born July 4, 1932, in Bangs, Texas, to Willie B. Martin and Jewell Stephens Martin. Betty married Billy W. Robertson, the love of her life, on December 15, 1950. She was a devoted military wife, her family moved frequently, and lived in Texas, Arkansas, Georgia, Germany and Oklahoma. Betty gave her love and loyalty to raising their three children when Bill was away protecting freedom. Settling in Weatherford, Bill and Betty became longtime members of Eureka Baptist Church where they both loved to worship the Lord. Betty adored her family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Kristopher Robertson; sister, Darlene Hanley; and brothers, Bobby Martin and Roy Martin. 

Betty is survived by her son, Marty Robertson and wife, Karen of Fredericksburg, Texas; son, Ronnie Robertson and wife, Robin of New Braunfels, Texas; daughter, Judy Edwards and husband, David of Weatherford, Texas; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sister, Sonda Bell and husband, Wayne of Teague, Texas, and sister, Billie Jennings Oliver of Weatherford, Texas.

Visitation: Tuesday, June 7th, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Eureka Baptist Church, in Weatherford, Texas.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, June 8th, at 2:00 p.m., in the Bangs Cemetery, in Bangs, Texas.
