Beverly Guiles Vestal, 81, passed away at Hilltop Park Memory Center, Weatherford, Texas, February 10th, 2021. Beverly was the second daughter of Hollis and Ruthel Guiles, and was born and raised in Weatherford, Texas, on August 1, 1939.
She attended South Weatherford School and graduated from Weatherford High School in 1957. Beverly had a 30-year career with the Department of Human Resources. She was involved in many charities in Parker County including Santa’s Helpers and the original Parker County Food Bank. She loved Parker County history and collected memorabilia of Parker County. She was a joy to be around and will be missed by many. She was a long-time member of Emanuel Baptist Church.
She has two children that survive her, Jeri Lynn Douglas and David Vestal; and grandchildren, Aimee and husband, Sam Minnich, Rachel Brunson, David and Jason Vestal, and Aleah Vestal; great grandchildren, Emily and Morgan Carroll, Hollis and Wyatt Minnich; and two sisters survive her, Janet Haley and LaJuan Lee; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a small memorial service Friday, February, the 26th, at Central Christian Church, South Main, at 6:00 p.m.
In lieu of floral arrangements, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas Chapter, in Fort Worth.
