Bill Atchley

Bill Atchley, age 85, passed from this life Sunday, November 15, 2015 at his residence. Bill was born April 12, 1930 in DeKalb, TX to William and Gladys Atchley.  He was a retired coach, principal, and public school teacher, being on staff at Throckmorton, Albany, Breckenridge, and finally at Weatherford.  Bill was a member of the Tejas Club at East Texas State, former President of Weatherford Noon Lions Club, Optimist Club, a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the South Main Church of Christ where he served as an Elder.  He loved is family, woodworking, making wind chimes, and youth sports
 
Bill is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Atchley of Weatherford, daughter, Cindy Barber of Weatherford, son, Bobby Atchley and wife Marcy of Weatherford, grandchildren Clair Arche and husband Adam, and Will Atchley and one great grandchild Adalyn Arche.
 
In lieu of other remembrances the family request donations be made to The Missions Ministry at South Main Church of Christ, or the Alzheimer's Association.
