Billie Jean Barnes

Billie Jean Barnes passed away in Fort Worth, on Friday, January 16, 2015.
Billie Jean was born June 04, 1930 in Parker County and lived in the community of Dicey before moving into the city of Weatherford during her childhood. She was employed for over 27 years at Southwestern Bell as a telephone operator, working first in Weatherford, then in Ft. Worth.  She was a long time member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Weatherford.
Mrs. Barnes was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, William R. Barnes; her parents, Leonard and Julia Jackson; sisters, Mildred Treadwell, and Marzelle White.
 Survivors include her son, Dennis Barnes; daughter, Sabrina Stoffels and her husband, Tim; niece, Brenda Geeslin; nephews, Clarence Earl Harris, Donald Ray Harris and Gary White; and many friends and relatives.

Visitation: 6-8 pm Monday at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
