Billy Joe Cantrell

Billy Joe Cantrell, 52, of Weatherford, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 2 PM, on Friday, August 25, at Brock Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Buckner Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM, Thursday evening, August 24, at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, in Weatherford.
Billy was born October 26, 1964 in Houston to Larry Joe Cantrell and Billie Faye Mott. He will be remembered as being a ‘workaholic’ who always enjoyed working on his projects. He enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting and fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Billy was a member of the NRA and was involved in the Spanish Trail Ride. Most of all, Billy was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his family - particularly his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Billy is survived by his wife, Terri; children, Kevin Cantrell, Ashley Cantrell, Ty Cantrell, and Cody Cantrell; grandchildren, Emily Tidwell and Nathan Terhune; his parents, Mike and Billie Faye Mott and Larry Joe Cantrell; and by his brothers and sisters, Larry Cantrell, James Cantrell, Nathan Mott, Michael Mott, Jimmy Stallings, Selena Yates, Denise Dean, Robert Mott, Jason Mott, and Aimee Mott.
