Billye M Simons

Billye Marie Simons, 84, of Weatherford, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Billye was born on April 16, 1930 in Westbrook, Texas to Claude and Mildred Sweatt. She graduated from Odessa High School in 1946. Billye married Melvin Simons on December 7, 1948. Together they owned and operated M&B Transport for 18 years. She was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church in Weatherford for 42 years. Billye is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Deb Sweatt.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years,  Melvin Simons, daughters; Patti Clinton and husband Robert, Sylvia Bowman, son, Terry Simons and wife Lisa, grandchildren, Matthew Bowman, Melody Petree and husband Danny, Mallorie Hadley and husband Rick and Mackenzie Simons, great grandchildren, Dakota and Lilly Petree, Rylee Hadley, and expecting  her fourth great grandchild, Eli Petree any day.
She will be greatly missed by a multitude of friends and family

Funeral will be at  10:00 am Thursday, November 20, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Curtis Cemetery.

Visitation 6-8 pm Wednesday at Galbreaith Pickard.
