Bob Wayne Billman

  Bob Wayne Billman, 85, peacefully passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024. Born on December 11, 1938, in Weatherford, Texas, Bob was the son of Bill and Cleta Billman. He honorably served his country in the United States Navy, a commitment that underscored his dedication to service.

  Following his military career, Bob worked as a supervisor at TXU Electric, where he contributed significantly until his retirement. In his leisure time, Bob found joy in golfing and enjoying a cold beer, cherishing moments spent with family and friends. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, always willing to lend a hand or share his resources.

  Bob was preceded in death by his parents and two beloved sons, Tracy and Eddie Billman.

  He is survived by his cherished wife, Nicki Lynn Billman of Weatherford, Texas; sons, Michael Billman and his wife, Christi, and Robert Billman and his wife, Johnnie; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as his sister, Maxene Shields and brother, Gary Billman.

  A graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024, at DFW National Cemetery, in Dallas, Texas, honoring Bob's life and legacy. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
