Bob Carter

  Bob Carter, 59, of Weatherford, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014, in Sherman, Texas. Bob was born January 5, 1955, in Weatherford, to James and Anita Carter. 

  He worked for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group for 41 years and in the last few years was a Dynamic Routing Manager. Bob was saved at a young age while attending Vacation Bible School; he was a member of North Side Baptist Church and the Laid Back Golf Club. He enjoyed spending time with his family. 

  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Mike Carter. 

  Bob is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda; son, Joe Carter, both of Weatherford; sisters, Lois Wright and husband, David of Weatherford, Sandra Barham and husband, Stanley of Mineral Wells, Elaine Carter of Mineral Wells, and Jeanie Carroll of Mineral Wells; brothers, Jeff Carter and wife, Sheila of Santo and Tim Carter and wife, Mary of Brock; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

  Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m., Friday August 22, 2014, at North Side Baptist Church, with Bro. Kerry Patton officiating.

  Interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery.

  Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at North Side Baptist Church Chapel.
