Bobbie Irene Caraway Wright

Bobbie Irene Caraway Wright passed away at home in Weatherford, TX on Sunday, May 5, 2013.
Bobbie was born June 11, 1927 in southern Parker County. She graduated from Weatherford High School in 1944, married Grady H. Wright in 1947, and graduated from North Texas State College in 1950. Grady’s career in the Oil & Gas Industry led them to Midland and Snyder, TX, Houston TX, Orlando, FL, and twice to Denver, CO. Bobbie & Grady retired back to Parker County in 1986.
Bobbie is preceded in death by her brother, Bryant Caraway Jr. her mother Jewell Forbes Caraway, her father Bryant Caraway, her grandparents Benjamin J. Forbes and wife Minnie Sisk Forbes. Brother Forbes was known as the last of the horseback circuit preachers, serving several Church of Christ congregations in Parker and surrounding counties. She is also preceded in death by grandparents John and Elizabeth Caraway.
Bobbie is survived by Grady, her husband of 68 years, her son Knox and wife Elisa of Houston TX, granddaughters Kendall and Erin, her sister, Pat Caraway Huff and husband Harold of Citrus Heights, CA.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday May 10th at the Tin Top
Church of Christ on Old Tin Top Road, with burial to follow at Tin Top
Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, May 9th from 6 to 8 PM at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bobbie Irene’s memory to
the Tin Top Cemetery Association, 110 Ranchview Trail, Weatherford TX
76087, or to a charity of your choice.
