Bobby Doyle Rodgers

Bobby “Bob” Doyle Rodgers, 79, of Weatherford, passed away early on Friday, May 31, 2019 in Fort Worth.
A graveside service celebrating his life will be held at 10:30 A.M., on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Johnson Cemetery with Military Rites.
Bob was born June 17, 1939, in Monahans, Texas to James Harrol and Lola Belle Rodgers. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1958. Bob proudly served his country for eight years in the U.S. Navy. A devout Christian, Bob was a member at North Side Baptist Church. Prior to that, Bob served as a Deacon at his church in El Campo, Texas. He enjoyed ‘inventing things’ in addition to raising and training animals. Additionally, he enjoyed flying and worked for many years as a Crop Duster. Bob will affectionately be remembered for being a loving and devoted father and grandfather
Bob is survived by his wife, Jane Rodgers; his son, Cody and wife Erin of Hawaii; four grandchildren, Faith, Jack, Grady, and James; and by his sister, Virginia Petrey and husband Clint.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by several sisters, Hailey, Lottie, and Lois; and by his brother, J.B.
