Bobby Gene Turpin

Bobby Gene Turpin, age 81, died Sunday morning, November 4, 2012 at Weatherford Regional Medical Center. Bobby was born, June 9, 1931 to the late Homer and Dora Turpin in Weatherford where he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Weatherford High School in 1950 and served in the Air Force during the Korean War.  After returning home he graduated from North Texas University. Bobby was an active member of the Masonic Lodge joining The Phoenix Lodge #275 in 1955 where he was an active member until his recent illness. He was also a member of The Moslah Shrine. Bob will be remembered as the owner of Turpin Tax Service and for numerous charitable events. He loved wood working, especially the bird houses that were given to many. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Pat and grandson Tyson Teague.

Grandchildren- Sarah, Holly, Douglas and Taylor Turpin, Lindsey and Jay Boland, Amber Sorensen,
              Katy and Chad Slayton, and Jamie Teague 
 
Great Grandchildren- Avery and Brady Boland and Olivia Sorenson
 

  Graveside
service will be held Thursday 10AM at Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 in the chapel.
