Bobby Maclynn "Mac" Randolph

Bobby M. "Mac" Randolph, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on May 19, 2009 following a courageous battle with cancer. The disease may have broken down his body, but it never broke his spirit. Mac was born on February 13th, 1943 in Breckenridge, TX. He was the oldest son of the late Maskell ("Mac Sr.") and Murriell Price ("Granny Mable") Randolph. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Marsha Kaye Wolfe Randolph; his son, Bobby M. Randolph Jr. and wife, Lisa of San Antonio, TX; his daughter, Crecshia Gail Randolph Gasaway and husband John of Weatherford, TX; a sister, Linda Gail Underwood and husband Byron of Tallahassee, Florida; a brother, Rex M. Randolph and wife, Ann of Jacksonville, Florida; an uncle, Bobby N. Randolph and wife, Janie of Granby, Missouri; along with their children Katrina and Albert; Mac also leaves behind 4 precious grandchildren; Joshua Tyler and Hannah Taylor Randolph and Nolan Levi and Aaron Robert Gasaway, who were indeed the light of his life, the sparkle in his eyes and the bounce in his step: his true "buddies". Also left to cherish his memory are Maxine Gasaway of Weatherford, Texas; Robert and Frances Wolfe of Gaffney, South Carolina; Mac’s best hunting buddy, Bill Ralph of Mineral Wells, Texas and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews and many, many friends. Special thanks to the staff of Alpha and Omega Hospice, in particular, the loving kindness of Anaconni Escobedo and Mary Jane Bowden during Mac’s last months. Those who are left to mourn his passing will also surely miss his tendency for great advice on everything from planting vegetable gardens to living a good life. His laughter was deep, his opinions were solid and he was a loved man. Mac asked that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent in his memory to Alpha Omega Hospice in Fort Worth, TX or Cook’s Children Hospital in Ft. Worth, TX. Memorial service: 3:30PM, Friday, May 22, 2009 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. Galbreaith Pickard in charge of arrangements. Go rest--The battle is over--Wait for us.
