Bobby Ray Glenn, passed away peacefully at age 80, Wednesday, June 1, 2022. Bob was born January 28, 1942, in Weatherford, Texas, to Clyde Glenn and Mary Alice (Tot) Pearcy Glenn.
Bob was married to Carolyn, the love of his life for 58 wonderful years. Bob took pride in his occupation, he began at First National Bank and throughout 57 years of his banking career he worked for Citizens, Merchants and Farmers, Texas Bank, and PlainsCapital, where he retired. He was the president of the Weatherford College Scholarship Endowment Foundation and volunteered many hours collecting endowment scholarships. Bob loved the community and especially his hometown, Weatherford, Texas. He was an active member of North Side Baptist Church, where he loved to worship the Lord. Bob was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend who will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, and stepbrother, Leland Harper.
Bob is survived by his wife, Carolyn Glenn; son, Joe Glenn; son, Jim Glenn and wife, Becky; daughter, Jill Dunegan and husband, Dan; and grandchildren, Macy Dunegan, Sam Dunegan, Maggie Glenn, and Major Glenn.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2022, at North Side Baptist Church, Weatherford.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2022, also at North Side Baptist Church.
Memorials: Weatherford College Scholarship Endowment Foundation or North Side Baptist Church Building Fund.
