B.R. (Bill) Holloway

B.R. “Bill” Holloway, age 77, of Weatherford, died Monday, March 24, 2014. Mr. Holloway was born on November 12, 1936 in Brady, Texas. He was a retired service manager for the Weatherford Goodyear Store, a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church where he served as an Elder, he loved hunting fishing and was an avid reader of western novels. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be remembered as “A perfect example of a Dad”.  Mr. Holloway is preceded in death by his parents; Rayford and Paula Holloway, sister, JoAnn McAnally and grandson, Jacob Hunter.
Survivors: Loving wife of 57 years, Irene Holloway, daughters; Lynn Ryan and husband T. E. of Poolville, Vicki Hunter and husband Alton of Boyd, Sherri Wolfenberger and husband Travis of Peaster, sons; Karl Holloway and wife Diane of Paducah, Texas, Kevin Holloway and wife Tomara of Weatherford, eighteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren.




Memorial service 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Zion Hill Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
