Brenda Louise Carr

Brenda Louise Carr, 52, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Brenda was born August 27, 1970, in Weatherford, Texas to Jimmy Don Carr, Sr. and Betty Ann (Berryman) Carr. She married Timothy Allen and was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. Brenda's loving heart was a joy for all who knew her. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them, and especially loved her role as Nanny. Brenda will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Don Carr, Sr. and Betty Ann Carr, and her sister, Cynthia Hamilton.

Brenda is survived by her beloved husband, Tim Allen of Weatherford, Texas; daughter, Whitney Garcia (Daniel); son, Cody Allen; three grandsons, Brendan, Jeremiah, and Alexander; brother, Jimmy Carr, Jr. (Christy); mother-in-law, Rama Sue Allen; brother-in-law, Raymond Allen (Jody); and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 20, 2023, at Central Cemetery, 4260 Old Agnes Road, Weatherford, Texas 76088; the service will be officiated by Rev. Rusty Ellis.

A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 North Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086, in the stateroom.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests making a donation to the American Cancer Society in memory of Brenda.
