Burlie N. Dane, 94, of Weatherford, died Friday, February 16, 2007 in a local nursing facility. Born May 17, 1912 in Montague, Texas, he was a resident of Parker County for many years. Burlie retired from Weatherford Oil and Tool, was a member of North Side Baptist Church and for over 60 years a member of the Masonic Lodge. He had served as a Deacon for Aenon Baptist and North Side Baptist Church.  Burlie was a Jack of all Trades, loved to build things and was locally known for building airplanes from aluminum cans to be flown in yards. Burlie is survived by his Wife, Mrs. B.N. “Winona” Dane; daughter, Delena Tanner and husband Ed of Weatherford; son, Curtis Dane and wife Martha of Irving; brothers, R.C. Dane of Bedford and Wayne Dane of Owassa, OK;   5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.Funeral service: 10:00 AM, Monday, February 19, 2007 in North Side Baptist Church with Rev. Van N. Houser officiating. Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 2-4 PM, Sunday in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.
