Caleb Ramsay – CR22 took the checkered flag through the Golden Gates on Thursday, November 29 with his family by his side. Caleb, 30 of Weatherford, is survived by his wife, Haley Ramsay; parents, Ted and Pam Ramsay of Weatherford; sister and her husband, Tamara and Tony Thomas of Aledo; sister and her husband, Andrea and Bo Bekendam of Brock; brother and his wife, Aaron and Sarah Ramsay of Aledo; nieces and nephews, Taylor and Tinley Thomas, Skylar and Sawyer Bekendam and Laken and Renden Ramsay; grandmother Martha Waggener and her husband Grady of Austin.
Caleb made his entrance into Fort Worth, Texas with the sounds of 2-stroke engines blasting in the air. He graduated from Peaster High School and obtained his associates degree from Weatherford College. Caleb was a truck driver for both local freight and the oil field. He dominated in his racing through the TCCRA, TORCS and TORN dirt bike associations. Through his love of dirt bike racing he met the love of his life, Haley, and they together became one on January 6, 2018. Both, Caleb and Haley, attended the Church of Christ. God was the center of his life and his character displayed the light of Christ. Caleb was a compassionate, loving, caring person who made life an adventure. Snowboarding, biking, camping, running and mechanics were his hobbies outside his passion for dirt bike riding and racing.
Visitation for Caleb will be Wednesday, December 5, at Galbreaith Pickard, 913 N Elm St., Weatherford, TX, from 6-8 p.m. His celebration of life will follow on Thursday, December 6, at North Side Baptist Church, 910 N Main St., Weatherford, TX at 1 p.m.
