Carl Eugene Shields

Carl Eugene Shields, 68, went home to meet our Lord September 26, 2015 in Weatherford.  

Carl was born July 5, 1947 in Weatherford, Tx to Alvin and Ruth Shields.  He was a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Pat Shields.  Sons Dwayne Shields and wife Jody, of Weatherford; Shannon Gaines and wife Missy, of Weatherford; Christopher Shields and wife Lindsay, of Weatherford; Daughters Tanya Gaines and husband Robert, of Bryan, Tx; Michelle Ballard and husband Randy, of Weatherford; Desha Gaines, of Peaster;  16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Alton and Doyle Shields of Weatherford; sister Allene Fant and husband Donne of Weatherford; numerous other relatives.

Preceded in death by parents and son, Paul Gaines.

A memorial service will be held at Monday, September 28th at 10:00am at Westwood Christian Fellowship, 1010 S. Bowie Drive, Weatherford.
