Carl Richard Green, age 65, of Weatherford, died on Friday evening, October 27, 2006, at his residence. Born September 7, 1941, in Elizabeth, Louisiana, a resident of Weatherford for several years.
He was an engineer, a member of the Weatherford High School 1961 Class, veteran of the U.S. Navy, a life member of the VFW, and a member of the American Legion. Mr. Green was a retired 30 year employee of Campbell Health Systems.
Survivors: wife, Avelina (Belen) Green of Weatherford; step sister, Vava Germany; brother, Donald Green and wife, Brooklee of Midland; uncle, C. J. Long, of Granbury; nieces, Lee Hughes and Lita Bilsky; and his dog, Sugar, that he loved so much.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 31, 2006, in East Greenwood Cemetery. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, October 30, at the funeral home.
