Carol (Large) Crawford

  Carol (Large) Crawford, age 82, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 15, 2025, in Weatherford, Texas. Born on March 31, 1943, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Carol was the beloved daughter of Robert and Stella Pauline Large. Carol married Tom Crawford on August 5, 1960, in Talala, Oklahoma. Together the two raised three sons: Tom, Mark, and David.

  Carol is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Tom Crawford; her children, Tom and Ruth Crawford, and Mark and Jane Crawford; her grandchildren, Brittany and Seth Cooper, Paula and CG Boatright, Laura Crawford, and Kassandra Crawford; and her great-grandchildren, Chase Boatright, Logan Boatright, and Coraline Cooper. 

  Carol is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Bert and Barbara Large, Robert and Carol Large, Ben Large, and Juanita and Cliff Carlile. 

  Carol was preceded in death by her parents and her son, David.

  Carol dedicated her life to her family. She deeply loved her three sons, Tom, Mark, and David, and was blessed with four granddaughters and three wonderful great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She treasured her role as a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was her greatest source of happiness.

  In addition to her family, Carol was a pillar in her church Center Point Baptist, where she served faithfully as Secretary/Treasurer for many years. Her commitment to the church and its members reflected her deep faith. Carol was unwavering in her faith in God and her love for Jesus Christ, and her life was a testament to her belief. Her kindness, compassion, and love for others were guided by her strong spiritual foundation.

  A graveside service will be held on February 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Center Point Baptist Church Cemetery, 1005 Center Point Rd, Weatherford, Texas 76087. 

  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to research for Alzheimer’s in Carol's memory.
