Carol Riddle McDaniel

Carol Riddle McDaniel, 82, of Weatherford, TX passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m., on Monday, December 24, 2018 at the Tin Top Church of Christ. Burial will follow at the Tin Top Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel in Weatherford on Sunday, December 23, 6-8pm.
Carol was born in Weatherford, Texas on June 8, 1936 to Lena Chlorine (Tankersley) and W.R. “Bob” Riddle, Sr. Carol was highly regarded for her athletic efforts in the sports of basketball and volleyball, in which, she and her teammates were inducted into the Weatherford High School Hall of Fame for their 1953 District Championship. This undying drive and desire to be a proud person and highly regarded individual never left her. She was a member of the South Main Church of Christ.
Carol Riddle married Robert Harvey McDaniel (deceased) on September 6, 1958.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Debra Renee’ and husband, Eddie Francis of Perrin, and by her son, Randall Lester McDaniel and Kim Wright of Weatherford; her grandchildren, Michael and wife, Rachael Francis , great- grandson Gabriael of Perrin; Ashley and husband Cody Murray, great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Cutter of Perrin. Granddaughter, Jessica Francis and Connor Hardesty of Abilene and grandson, Justin Francis of Perrin. In addition, survivors include sister-in-law’s, Carolyn Riddle and Janie Riddle of Weatherford along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Edward Riddle, W.R. “Dub” Riddle, Jr., William Holton Riddle and her sisters, Bobbie Ester Johnson and Glenys Marie Magee.
