Cecil Dwayne Pool

Cecil Dwayne Pool, 71, of Weatherford passed away Monday November 28, 2011 in the local hospital. He was born November 13, 1940 in Clifton, Texas to Jake Thomas and Lillian Josephine Pool. Cecil was a master electrician; owned and operated Pool Electric for many years. He was a longtime member of Live Oak Country Club where his passion for golf began and a member of the Baptist church. Cecil was a past member of the Weatherford Volunteer Fire Department and loved doting on his grandchildren. He was a family man that raised five beautiful children, making sacrifices in every way to provide for their needs.
He was preceded in death by his father Jake Thomas Pool.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary “Skipper” Pool of Weatherford; daughters, Connie Riggle and husband Mike of Weatherford, Debbie McIntyre and husband Larry of Walbach, Nebraska, Carla Pool of Weatherford and Dana Pool and Mike Wilson of Willow Park; sons, David Pool and wife Wynne of Weatherford, Chance Massengale and Kat Bohlmann of Wimberley and Chad Massengale and wife Sarah of Nacogdoches; mother, Lillian Pool of Weatherford; brothers, Clayton Pool and Cloyse Pool and wife Shirley both of Weatherford; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
 
Funeral service: 2 PM, Thursday, December 1, 2011 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment at Longcreek Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
