Cesar Martinez

Cesar Martinez, 92, passed away on December 28, 2022, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Zaragoza, Coahuila Mexico on January 23, 1930, to the late Cesario and Martina Martinez. He married his wife Teresa Martinez on January 30, 1952, in Nueva Rosita Coahuila Mexico. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Antonio Martinez, Federico Martinez, and great grandson Ramiro Ramirez. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Teresa Martinez, his children Guadalupe Hernandez (Juan) Cesario Martinez (Beatriz) Oscar Martinez (Amparo) Alma Garcia (Carlos) Irma Gomez Irmita Gomez Jose Luis Martinez (Martha) Jesus Martinez (Rachel) Rodolfo Martinez (Claudia) He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 52 great grandchildren. 

Cesar had a love for horses which he kept at his ranch in Santa Eulalia. There he showed his children and grandchildren how to rope and ride. He also shared his love for hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a friend to all and a stranger to none; he was a very kindhearted man that would have given the shirt off his back. The love he gave was felt by all who knew him, and he will be missed greatly by his loving family.

Services will be held at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel:

Visitation will be Monday January 2 at 6-8 pm.

Services will be January 3 at 10 am with the burial to follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Martinez, Rodolfo Martinez, Jesseca Martinez, Jesus Hernandez, Cesar Hernandez, Cesar Garcia, Eloy Martinez III, and Sergio Rodriguez.
