Charles "Charlie" Wayne Hardin

  Charles Wayne "Charlie" Hardin, 62, passed from this life on Monday, January 22, 2024. Charles was born August 18, 1961, in Weatherford, Texas, to the late Ben C. Hardin and Ella (Jones) Hardin.

  Charles is survived by his daughter and her husband, Debra Nicole Hardin and Blaine Youngs; sister, Vicki Hardin Running; sister and husband, Karan and R.D. Towe; his niece and her husband; his great nieces, Brandon, Ashley, Jade and Belle Polvadore; and additional extended family and friends.

  Charles enjoyed fishing and had a particular fondness for endeavors in the outdoors, especially working in his yard and tinkering in his workshop. He made a living working as a truck driver for Kenny Yeary, and for several years traveling across the United States in his truck. Charles was known for his free spirit; he lived life on his own terms, but those terms include his willingness to help others, or lending tools or equipment to friends and neighbors. Charles was dearly loved and will be missed by all those who knew him.

  A visitation with the family will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel, 913 N. Elm Street, Weatherford, Texas 76086.
