Charles Mike Whittington was born March 10, 1955, in Twin Falls, Idaho to Charles and Jean Whittington. After a long, hard-fought battle, he graduated to Heaven on September 6, 2021, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Charles married his wife at the young age of 20, and they have been married 46 years. He loved to sing and had one of the greatest voices I’ve ever heard. He loved the San Francisco Giants and drag racing, where he and Jason would go every year. Charles simply loved spending time with his family. He had this rough exterior, but if you ever got passed that you would see that he had a huge heart and would give you his last dime. He worked hard to provide for his family. Charles was a husband, a father, a grandfather, a brother, and a friend. He loved God and his church and he knew where he was going to spend eternity. If there is one thing we know, he would want people to know Jesus loves you. Jesus loves you so much that He laid down His life so that you could live in eternity with him.
Charles was preceded in death by his grandparents, and parents, Charles and Jean Whittington.
He is survived in death by his loving wife, Vickie Whittington; brother, Joe (Cyndi); sister, Denise (Kevin); son, Jason and wife, Marlin, and granddaughters, Za’Mariyah, Arleigh, Mikenna; son, Daniel and wife, Karen, and grandson, AJ.
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
